Athletic Facilities

Office of Events and Summer Programs

The Summer Programs Information Desk is located on the first floor of Coles Tower. The desk is open 7 am to 9 pm, 7 days a week, during the summer. Please visit us if you have questions or concerns while on campus. We want to make your stay at Bowdoin as pleasant as possible.

Summer guests with Summer Programs ID cards are encouraged to make use of Bowdoin's athletic facilities during their stay on campus.  Please note that these facilities are sometimes reserved by specific Summer Programs groups; please visit the Summer Programs Information Desk for more information on availability.

Bowdoin's athletic facilities include:

The Buck Center, which includes a free-weight fitness facility with rowing machines on the lower level, a cardiovascular fitness center with weight machines on the ground floor, and an interior climbing wall;

Greason Swimming Pool, featuring sixteen 25-yard long lanes, as well as 1-meter and 3-meter diving stands;

Pickard Tennis Courts, featuring several outdoor hardcourts (available on a first-come, first-served basis when camps are not in session);

Lubin Family Squash Center, housing seven ASB squash courts with international dimensions, including one with a moveable sidewall to accommodate doubles play.
