Education
I earned a BA in Art History from Princeton University in 1988. I have an M.Ed
from Harvard University, 1995.
Background
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, where I attended Shady Side Academy and developed my passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Upon completing college,I taught English in Thailand and Japan through the Princeton-in-Asia (PiA) Program. I then returned to the States to direct the PiA Program and work in Residential Life at Princeton. After teaching for two years at St. Stephens and St. Agnes School in Alexandria, VA, I came to Bowdoin in 1997. I live in Portland with my husband and two children and enjoy spending time at the beach and in the mountains.
