I have a BA in Social Relations & Psychology from Lehigh University; an MA in social Relations & Counseling from Lehigh University and a PhD in Sociology from the UMass, Amherst.
I have spent a number of years as a faculty member, most recently in Soc/Anthro at Bowdoin where I taught courses in Criminology, Gender & Race & Ethnic Relations. I continue to engage in my research on women offenders and participate in a number of statewide committees on this topic. I moved to Maine in 2002 and live in Yarmouth with my husband and three children.
