Anna Remillard ’08 was awarded the DACOR Fellowship. She will pursue a Master’s Degree at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on the history of agrarian and land reform movements in rural India in preparation of reaching her long-term goal of becoming a human rights lawyer in India. Amy Ahearn '08 was awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship grant to Malaysia. During her Fulbright experience, Amy will teach conversational English to students in Malaysia's Terengganu Providence who are studying at the secondary level. She will also improve her Tamil language skills and volunteer with a local non-governmental organization (NGO). Read about Amy's experience on her blog.
Grace Park ’08 was awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship grant to Korea. She will teach English and investigate public arenas where students are free to express their artistic ability and creativity. Additionally, Grace will explore whether educational systems and schools play a part in cultivating creativity within students. (Read more)

Andrew Steltzer ’08 was awarded a Fulbright grant to Japan. He will study the Japanese English language education system through research and courses on English instruction techniques. He will also explore how the standardized education goals of English language education are determined, which will provide context for understanding how broader national goals are translated into actual instruction.
