Class Councils

The Class Council for each class consists of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, two representatives to the Bowdoin Student Government Assembly, and a Community Outreach Officer.  Elections for the first year and senior classes are in the fall, while elections for the sophomore and junior class are held in the spring of each year.  Class Councils are charged with promoting class identity, and each semester they receive a budget based on class enrollment to support this mission.  Some activities sponsored by the Class Councils include formal dances, community service days, late night snacks in the Pub, and class gifts such as t-shirts, lanyards, and sweatshirts.  The senior Class Council also plans "senior week", a celebration for senior class members between final exams and graduation. An up-to-date list of Class Council members can be found at http://students.bowdoin.edu/bsg/about/members/.
