The Spanish section of the Romance Languages Department offers courses in Spanish language, and in Hispanic literatures and cultures. In addition to focusing on developing students' fluency in Spanish, the department provides students with a broad understanding of the cultures and literatures of the Spanish-speaking world through a curriculum designed to prepare students either for international work or for graduate study.
