Academic Department Coordinator

Lori started at Bowdoin in Sepetember of 2002 as the Academic Department Coordinator for Sociology and Anthropology. She comes from a small environmental consulting firm where she was the office manager for 12 years.

Lori is a native Mainer who loves the outdoors. She is an animal lover and has much interest in conservation and the environment. She is an active participant on her community's Conservation Commission and has volunteered as a member of the Comprehensive Plan Committee who are developing the plan for the town of Phippsburg.

Lori loves the change of seasons in Maine and enjoys everything Maine has to offer from mountains and lakes, to the beaches and ocean. Lori is a fan of camping, fishing (she even has her own fly fishing rod and ice fishing traps), skiing, snowshoeing, gardening, cooking, and follows football, Red Sox baseball, and NASCAR racing.

Lori's office is located in Room 304 of Adams Hall. Office hours are 9:00 - 5:00 Monday through Friday during the academic year, and 9:00 - 5:00 Monday through Thursday during the summer.  If you have any questions or need help with anything related to the department please feel free to call on her.
