When Polaris (Bowdoin's new student information system) goes live, all courses moving forward will have 4-digit numbers. Below is an Excel file that lists the 4-digit numbers that will be used for courses (and the previously-used 3-digit equivalents). The file may currently be accessed only by Bowdoin faculty and staff.
Note: Courses are repeated in the list as many times as they are cross-listed. Unless sorted differently, all courses are in order by 4-digit number. The course number for the originating subject area is in bold. Pink highlighting indicates a course number that has been re-used. Blue highlighting indicates a new or revised course that has not yet been through the approval process.
