How did you first get involved in service at Bowdoin?
My very first service experience at Bowdoin was my Community Immersion Pre-Orientation trip as a First-Year.

What have you gained from your service experiences and working in the community?
I have gained friendship and greater interest in service and service learning. I have also learned great leadership skills and fabulous ice breaker games.

What does it mean to serve the common good?
For me, to serve the common good means to assist your community, or any community around the world, in a way that benefits others if not yourself as well. This can be the contribution of a small service project or a more long term goal.
