To Bowdoin students, faculty, and staff,

On April 17-18, Bowdoin is hosting its fourth annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life. The relay - conceived and organized exclusively at Bowdoin by students - presents an opportunity for our community to join together for one night to celebrate our friends and family who have battled cancer, remember those lost, and do what we can to help find cures. Organizers are hoping to exceed last spring's participation rate of 400 people from the Bowdoin community.

I encourage you to sign up for this year's Relay in support of each other and the American Cancer Society. The event, as always, will be full of great friends, fun, food, and more. I hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to make a difference. Starting or joining a team only takes a few minutes at: (www.relayforlife.org/bowdoincollege). If you have an additional questions please feel free to contact event chair Julia Seltzer '09 (jseltzer@bowdoin.edu).

Best regards,

Barry Mills
