To Members of the Bowdoin College Community in London,

Today's attacks in your city are a vivid and painful reminder of the savage nature of terrorism. Here in Maine, our thoughts and prayers are with the people of London, and particularly with the members of the Bowdoin community working and living there.

We have no reports of casualties among Bowdoin students, faculty, staff, trustees, alumni, parents, or friends. But we are well aware that these bombings are having an impact on everyone in London, and that you may have information about members of our community. If so, please let us know.

History has recorded well the resiliency of the people of Great Britain, and particularly that of the courageous and resolute people of London. We wish you the very best as you face this terrible tragedy.

Sincerely yours,

Barry Mills
