Students trained in the art of bike mechanics at the BOC opened up the Schwartz Outdoor Leadership Center to the campus and Brunswick community this afternoon in celebration of Earth Day 2009.  Led by assistant director Bree Simmons the group of students tuned, repaired, and improved over 30 bikes in the course of the afternoon.  Highlights include the Bowdoin Security's fleet of mountain bikes, three rusted bikes recently removed from snow banks, and over 20 flat tires!
