Once produce leaves the field, it is washed and delivered to campus. Primarily it is split between the two dining halls, Thorne and Moulton, and Magee’s Grill in Smith Union. Produce from each harvest is donated to the Midcoast Hunger Prevention Program on Union Street in Brunswick. The Bowdoin Food Co Op makes use of some produce at their weekly communal dinners in Ladd House during the semester.
One or two times each season we set up an on-campus farmer's market and sell produce to the campus community. This is advertised via signs in the dining halls and on the campus digest.
