Its been a busy beginning start of the summer season. Katherine has returned to the west coast, back home to visit family and start a new operation of her own, while the gardens here at Bowdoin are still in full swing. We have a new manager, Tristan Williams, and a new summer intern, Spencer Nietmann. Many plants are in the soggy wet ground, while we have more seeds to sow, and more plants in our greenhouse just starting. With two or three days in the last few week averaging over 2" of rain in a single storm the ground is wet but we are pushing on. With over 300 lbs of produce already harvested, we are looking forward to a great summer. If anyone is as excited as we are please contact us about getting out (rain or shine) into the field and lending a hand. Look into Getting Involved. We will see you in the sunshine!
