Children's Celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Jan. 16

The Bowdoin College Library's annual "Children's Celebration of Martin Luther King Jr." will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon in Daggett Lounge, Thorne Hall, on Monday, January 16, 2012.

Children's book authors Charlotte Agell (Shift; Dancing Feet) and Rohan Henry (The Perfect Gift; Good Night, Baby Ruby) will be on hand for "illustrated storytelling," music, and activities in remembrance of Dr. King.

The program is geared toward children ages five and up, and is open to the public. Admission is free.

Refreshments will be served, and selected titles by the authors will be available for purchase.
