Due to inclement weather, this event has been canceled.

The Bowdoin College Library's annual "Children's Celebration of Martin Luther King Jr." will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., in Lancaster Lounge, Moulton Union, on Monday, January 18, 2010.

Children's book authors Charlotte Agell (Shift; Dancing Feet) and Rohan Henry (The Perfect Gift; Good Night, Baby Ruby) will be on hand for "illustrated storytelling," singing, and activities in remembrance of Dr. King. Agell will also draw portraits of the children.

The program is geared toward children ages five and up, and is open to the public. Admission is free.

Refreshments will be served, and copies of the authors' books will be available for purchase.
