H1N1 Update: October 29
On Thursdays the College provides an updated snapshot of the situation involving students exhibiting flu-like symptoms.
Since the start of the semester, 198 students have come forward with such symptoms. Of these, 195 have recovered and returned to classes.
At this point, one student is in isolation and two have gone home to recover.
The Centers for Disease Control recommends the following steps to reduce your risk of becoming infected:
- Cover coughs and sneezes with sleeve or elbow
- Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
- Wash hands frequently, especially after coughing or sneezing
