Story posted November 02, 2011

Would you like to work for a non-profit organization in Maine next summer? Want to get paid for an unpaid internship? Interested in doing research on campus? Meet students who received a broad range of grants and fellowships that allowed them to travel from Peru to Portland to explore career fields of interest through summer jobs, fellowships, and internships. Also hear about grants that allow you to do research with a professor on campus. Learn about the broad range of summer opportunities that are open to you and get tips on the application process and organizations you might want to consider.

Learn more about funded internships at this information session on November 8 at 7:30pm in Main Lounge.

This event will review opportunities from the Career Planning Center, Environmental Studies, Kent Island, the McKeen Center, Student Employment, Student Fellowships and Research, and Upward Bound.
