The Joseph McKeen Center for the Common Good at Bowdoin College is pleased to announce that the 11^th Annual Common Good Day will take place Saturday, September 12, 2009.  Over the past decade Common Good Day has served as an opportunity for Bowdoin College students, faculty, staff, and alumni to join with community members to learn about local organizations through service. This event has consistently served not only as a way to get important work done for individual non-profit organizations, but also to introduce students to the community in which they live.

Last year, over 500 participants volunteered with over 60 different organizations in the greater Brunswick area.  If your organization would like to submit a project for Common Good Day, please click the registration link below.  The deadline for project registration is Thursday, July 30, 2009.
