Twenty-nine first-year students participated in Community Immersion Pre-Orientation trips this year. Participants took part in service projects in the greater Brunswick, Portland, Lewiston communities as well as the nearby island community of North Haven over four days. In addition to introducing students to the local community, these trips help foster life-long friendships while nurturing a commitment to service throughout their stay at Bowdoin and beyond. Take a look at the photos at right to see more about their experiences.
