As part of his spring 2008 visual arts course Public Art, A. LeRoy Greason Professor of Art Mark Wethli challenged his students to design public art for selected locations on campus. Carina Sandoval '10 worked with the McKeen Center for the Common Good's staff to understand the center's mission and the purposes of its Banister Hall space. Her design was chosen for installation, and she worked to create "Quilt Squares" during the summer of 2008 in preparation for the opening of the McKeen Center. Members of the campus community are encouraged to stop by the McKeen Center to view the project.

This project funded in part by the Morgan Family Foundation.
