The Italian section of the Romance Languages Department offers courses in Italian language, literature, and culture. In addition to focusing on developing students' fluency in Italian, the department provides students with a broad understanding of the cultures and literatures of the Italian-speaking world through a curriculum designed to prepare students either for international work or for graduate study.
