Introduction to the Content Management System (CMS)
This course is for those who will be editing content on their department's web site and who have little or no prior experience editing web sites.
The course will provide a comprehensive introduction to the CMS. This will include: an explanation of what a CMS is and how it works; what you can do with the CMS; logging into the CMS; an overview of the CMS interface; and step by step instructions and practice using the CMS. Participants will learn how to edit text, create links, insert images and downloadable files and create new pages and new sections for their site.
