On-Campus Long Distance Services (STC)

Bowdoin College uses STC for their on-campus long distance services. STC is a leader in providing colleges and universities with high quality, responsive, telecommunications services. STC offers excellent long distance rates for domestic and international calls - resulting in exceptional savings to Bowdoin.

On Campus Long Distance Calling Features for Personal Calls

  • Students are automatically enrolled - if you did not receive a PIN or do not remember your PIN please call the IT Student Help Desk at 721-5050. If you have questions about STC services or your account please contact STC directly by calling x6377 (which forwards to their Customer Service line of 877-819-6377) or send email to:help@stcservices.com 
  •  Faculty and Staff can place both business and personal calls with their STC PINs. If you do not remember your PIN, please contact the IT Help Desk at x 3030. If you need to request a PIN, please fill out the STC Registration Form and click Register to submit the form. Your STC PIN(s) will be emailed directly to you.

Dialing Long Distance

For long distance calls, dial 9, 1, area code and telephone number. When you hear 2 beeps, enter your STC long distance PIN and then press the # key.

Your business only PIN begins with 9 and your personal PIN begins with 4.

International Calls

International rates are lower than ever. Simply contact STC directly to sign up for your billing options. To obtain rate information for International calling, contact STC by calling x6377 (which forwards to their Customer Service line at 877-819-6377) or by sending an email to: help@stcservices.com
