The iPhone and the iPod touch are two of the most popular and advanced communication devices around. As they are capable of browsing the internet, using advanced email functions and playing high-quality audio and video in addition to being a phone, you may be wondering how much of their functionality you can take advantage of here at Bowdoin. Here's the good news: all of it!

iPhone/iPod touch Wi-Fi Setup:
Registering your iPhone/iPod touch for wireless internet at Bowdoin is just like registering your laptop
- To find the MAC address of your iPhone/iTouch, select "Settings" from your phone's home screen.
- From there, tap "General" and then "About"
- Scroll down until you see "Wi-Fi address"
- Enter this address at Mymail.bowdoin.edu just like for your laptop and you're done!
- Note: it can take up to 15 minutes for your card to register on our network.
iPhone/iPod touch E-mail Setup
To set up your Bowdoin e-mail:
- Select "Settings" on your home screen
- Tap the "Mail, Contacts, Calendar" item
- Under accounts, select "Add Account". Select Microsoft Exchange
- Enter your email address (username@bowdoin.edu) in the email field
- Enter "bowdoincollege" for the domain (no quotes)
- For username, enter "username" (without the quotes and where username is your bowdoin username)
- Enter your password and select "next:
- Enter "webmail.bowdoin.edu" as the server
- That's it!
