Mac OS X version 10.4 "Tiger" includes a new feature called Dashboard. Dashboard is a way to keep vital information at your fingertips, ready when you need it and easily hidden when you’re done. That information is presented in the form of widgets--miniature applications that live exclusively in Dashboard.
The following widgets are available for download:
Displays Bowdoin College's Dining Service food menus. Upon its activation in Dashboard, this widget automatically displays the menu for the current or upcoming meal being served. Click on the name of one of Bowdoin's dining halls and any meal to view that respective menu for the day. At 8 pm, the widget is automatically updated to display the next day's menus. Please note that brunch is only served on the weekends, as a combination of breakfast and lunch.
Displays Bowdoin College's Campus News, Academic Spotlight (Faculty Research, Performance and Exhibitions), Athletic News, and Events all in one handy spot.
Mac OS X v.10.4 Tiger is required. If you're using Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, the widget installer appears. Click Install if you want the widget installed on your Mac. If you're using a browser other than Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive and open it to show the widget installer.
