As you are conducting research for your paper, you may find sources in the Library Catalog that you want to cite. The Library's Catalog allows you to export marked records into EndNote. After you perform a search, the Library's top menu will change and "Export" will be an option. Click on "Export" to save that particular record. Continue to do this for each source. Once you have exported your sources, you will want to "Export Saved List."

At the next screen, under "Format of List," select "End-Note." Under "Send List To," select "Local Disk." Click on the "Submit" button.

At the Save As...dialogue box that appears, navigate to where you want to save the file and click on Save.
Open EndNote. Open the library file you want to add the references to. Choose File/Import.

Click on the Choose File... button and navigate to your file. Next to Import Option, choose Other Filters... from the drop down menu.

In the list of Filters that appears, select Bowdoin Library Catalog and press the Choose button.

Click on the Import button.
Note: after you select Bowdoin Library Catalog from the Other Filters list the first time, it should begin to appear in the Import Options drop-down menu.

To view all the references in the library, choose References/Show All.
