Searles 216 is an open lab equipped with Dell computers. The room also includes an overhead projector, data projector, VCR, DVD player, and a sound system that can be used for audio/visual presentations by students and faculty.

These computers have a Pentium III 930 MHz processor, 256 MB RAM, 40 GB Hard Drive, CD-ROM drive, floppy disk drive, 250 MB ZIP drive, and Windows XP.

Dell OptiPlex GX-150 (same configuration as classroom computers). Work station interfaces with projection and audio system.
- Sony VPL S900 Data Projector
This Sony Data Projector is ceiling mounted and capable of resolutions up to 800 x 600.
