35mm slide scanning is available in the IT Multimedia Lab in Coles Tower Room 2 West and the Language Media Center.

Flatbed scanning is available in the IT Multimedia Lab in Coles Tower Room 2 West, Hatch computer lab, Hawthorne-Longfellow Library computer lab (basement level), and the Language Media Center.

A slide production facility is located in the Language Media Center. A Nikon FM2 camera is mounted on a photo stand; students must provide their own film (Kodak Ektachrome 64T film is recommended). Processing services are available from Kennebec Camera and Darkroom in Bath and Brunswick Photo Lab.

Audio and video duplication services are available in the Language Media Center. Public stations are equipped for miniDV-VHS and VHS dubbing. High speed audiocassette duplication and transfers from PAL and SECAM to NTSC are also available. All editing and duplication must comply with U.S. and Bowdoin copyright guidelines. Students must provide their own blank VHS tapes.

A VHS editing suite for copying clips from one VHS tape to another is located in the Language Media Center. Documentation is available from the LMC staff.
