This computer cluster was created to aid faculty and students with research and classroom projects that require the computational power of ten linked processors. It is available to students for advanced molecular modeling and computational chemistry. Students have access to molecular computation programs, as well as programs for advanced data analysis. These computers and software packages are important elements of coursework and are used extensively in student research projects.
The room can be reserved by faculty and students.

These computers have a Pentium III 1 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, a 10 Gig and a 60 Gig Hard Drive, a Nvidia Quadro2 Video Card with 32 MB native VRAM, a Motherboard-integrated NIC, 5 Free PCI slots, CD-ROM drive, floppy disk drive, 250 MB ZIP drive, and a Dell Powervault 705N 240 GB diskarray. These computers are dual boot with WindowsNT and Redhat Linux. - Sony VPL S900 Data Projector with Sound System
This Sony Data Projector is ceiling mounted and capable of resolutions up to 800 x 600.
