Using Clickers

Turning Technologies is Bowdoin's classroom response system providing an interactive way for faculty and other presenters to engage their audience and achieve instant feedback. The Turning Technologies software is installed on all classroom computers on both Windows and Macintosh. You may also download a free copy of the TurningPoint 5 polling software software onto your own computer.

The TurningPoint software allows you to be flexible in how you use it. You can "poll on the fly" and ask questions spontaneously during a presentation or a class, create a question list ahead of time, or insert polling questions directly into your PowerPoint presentation. When you are finished with a class, TurningPoint saves your results and provides you with different reporting options. The software even takes a screenshot of your computer screen each time you open polling so you can use it to poll in any application or web site that you want feedback about!
