NEW: Since Windows 7, the Pharos installation package will download the appropriate version of the printer software based on the operating system type that you have installed (32-bit or 64-bit). This change will also allow your computer to check in with Bowdoin's Public Printing system and automatically download any updates or changes that we may make in order to make your printing experience better. We can now make changes to print drivers, printer settings and more which will all filter down to your Windows-based computer with no changes required on your part. Follow the steps below to install your printer(s).

Click the "Install" button.

Click "Finish" The printer is installed!
When you send a print job to a public printer the Pharos popup window will appear. Type in your username and a name for your print job. This is how you will identify your print job when you got to the Print release station next to the Public Printer!

If you do not accept the cost or you don't see the job coast window, the print job will not appear at the release station.
* NOTE: Windows 8 users won't see the final notification window appear. This is an issue with Windows 8 and the way it interacts with Pharos. The print job however, is being sent to the release station anyway. If you need to know the total cost of the job before printing, select the job on the release station and the cost will be listed in the lower-left corner.
