Computer Replacement Cycle

CAP coincides with the deployment of computers in our four year auto-replacement cycle (click here for a list of computers due to be replaced in the next CAP round). Every regular faculty and staff member whose job requires a computer will have a computer not more than four years old.  Flat panel monitors are not automatically replaced.  If you require a new monitor with your new computer, please submit a CAP request. Your Department Coordinator, Director, or Chair will be notified by December 30th of all computers in your department that are scheduled for auto-replacement. CAP requests do not need to be made for auto-replacement computers. Computers are delivered begining July 1.
