Common File Storage & Access Permissions

Common File Storage Areas & Access Permissions outlines the structure, location, and permissions of the server work areas.

Permissions for folders are inherited, or automatically given, from the folder above in the hierarchical structure.  Explicit permissions which override the inherited permissions may be assigned, but with limitations as described.

Custom permissions to folders may be requested by employees and students.  Requests are authorized by the Data Owner.
