Hours: Open 24 hours to Coles Tower residents during the academic year.
Room Type: Dual-boot iMac Computer lab, open lab when not reserved.

Coles 2 West is an Apple Computer classroom that offers professors the flexibility of instructing students in a classroom environment, while at the same time allowing them to bring technology use into their coursework. The classroom is designed to help professors and students give elaborate audio and video presentations. The room can be reserved for classes by faculty and when the classroom is not in use it serves as an open lab.

The room features a black and white LaserJet printer, a color LaserJet printer, scanners, data projector and screen.

This lab can be reserved for classes by faculty.

Technology:

• 11 - Apple 20" Apple iMac computers dual-booted to run both OS X and Windows 7.
  These computers have a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 4 GB of RAM.
• 1-Instructor Station (same configuration as classroom computers)

• Sony VPL X600 Data Projector
  This Sony data projector is ceiling mounted and has a native resolution of 800 x 600.
• 1 - Flatbed Scanners
  The lab is equipped with 1 Epson Perfection v300 photo flatbed scanner (8 1/2" x 11")
