VAC303 is a classroom that offers professors the flexibility of instructing students in a traditional setting, while at the same time allowing them to bring technology into their instruction. The classroom is designed to help professors and students give elaborate multimedia presentations.

Technology:

  • Instructor station
    Included in the station is a 17" monitor interfaced with a dual-boot Mac Mini providing access to both Mac OS X and Windows7 platforms
  • NEC PA550W Data Projector
    This data projector is ceiling mounted and has a native resolution of 1024 x 768
  • SP Controls (Smart Box), DVD/CD drive mounted under table next to the Mac Mini, sound system and laptop connection.
  • Document camera
  • 4 wall-mounted white boards
  • Window shades
