Searles 313 is a classroom that offers professors the flexibility of instructing students in a traditional setting, while at the same time allowing them to bring technology into their instruction. The classroom is designed to help professors and students give elaborate multimedia presentations.

Technology:

  • Instructor Station
    Included in the station is a 20" widescreen monitor interfaced with a dual-boot Mac Mini providing access to both Mac OS X and Windows7 platforms
  • NEC PA550W Data Projector
    This data projector is ceiling mounted and has a native resolution of 1024 x 768
  • Extron Controls on the front of the instructor podium with DVD/CD drive, Blu-Ray/DVD player, sound system, Logitech webcam and laptop connection cable accessible in the side drawer
  • Document camera
  • Overhead projector
  • 4 Wall-mounted white boards (3 small and 1 large)
