Searles 217 is a classroom that offers professors the flexibility of instructing students in a traditional setting, while at the same time allowing them to bring technology into their instruction. The classroom is designed to help professors and students give elaborate multimedia presentations.

  • Instructor Station
    Included in side drawer of the station is a dual-boot Mac Mini providing access to both Mac OS X and Windows 7 platforms
  • Wacom LCD tablet with stylus pen
  • NEC PA550W Data Projector
    This data projector is ceiling mounted and has a native resolution of 1280 x 800
  • Extron Controls on the front of the instructor podium with DVD/CD Drive, Blu-Ray/DVD player, sound system, Logitech webcam and laptop connection cable accessible in the side drawer
  • Document camera
  • Overhead projector
  • 6 Wall-mounted chalk boards (4 small and 2 large)
