The easiest way to create a vacation message is to use Webmail.
Open your web browser (e.g., Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari) and go to Webmail: https://webmail.bowdoin.edu
Log in to Webmail with your regular e-mail username and password.
Click on the Options button on the left side of your Web Access window.
In the top "Out of Office Assistant" section of the window, select "I'm currently out of the office". In the text box below, type in your vacation or "away message".

Click on the Save and Close button at the top of the window. ![]()
When you return from vacation, return to this area and select the "I'm currently in the office" option. Save and Close.
