Video Conferencing
Bowdoin College operates a video conferencing network that provides IP based high quality service between Colby, Bates, and Bowdoin Colleges (CBB) over a private ATM network and worldwide access via the public telephone ISDN network. The system supports point-to-point calling as well as conferences ranging from three to ten parties. Access to the video conferencing network is provided by a state-of-the-art video conferencing room in each school, as well as individual personal computers equipped with appropriate video conferencing hardware.
