2011 Benefits

Benefits Open Enrollment will begin on Monday, October 18th at 9:00 am and will run for thirty (30) days through Friday, November 19th at 5:00p.m.  All benefits-eligible employees must log in via HRforYou to review and elect benefits which will begin January 1, 2011.  Please remember that the open enrollment period is the one time of the year (other than qualified events that occur during the year) to make changes to your benefit plans.

Employees will have a modest increase in the new monthly pre-tax contributions for the Bowdoin College Health Plan for calendar year 2011.  For employees earning $41,700 or less, the College will continue to fund a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) in the amount of $325 per year.  This will help employees enrolled in the medical plan cover specific out-of-pocket expenses: office visit co-pays, prescription drugs co-pays, and any amount you incur toward co-insurance and the annual deductible.
