Our self-service module, HRforYOU, was designed by Ceridian to work optimally with personal computers and Internet Explorer, version 6.0. During our test phase, we determined that it will also work on other computer platforms and browsers. However, you may experience some issues with the appearance of fonts, access to some pages, and printing, etc. if you have changed your preferences and settings from the default. Some of these issues are easy to overcome: for instance, if the print is too small to read, you may find going to View on your menu, then scrolling down to Text Size, and choosing a larger setting will allow you read your screen more easily depending on your browser.

Another option if the first does nothing to change the appearance of the program, is to change your pixel setting while you are using the program Control Panel> Appearance> Display> Settings> screen resolution: 800x600 (or whatever setting you’re comfortable with) which will make everything appear larger but you will need to change this back when you are done with the program.

Additionally, your computer needs to be set to turn on the property that generates cookies if it is currently turned off. If you bookmark the webpage, you may need to reset your browser, or delete the cookies and files in the temporary folder as well as clear the history to see the updated site. To do this on a PC, go to your Start menu, choose Control Panel, go to Network and Internet Connections, then Internet Options, and then delete and clear those. On a Mac, go to your browser menu (for example choose Safari at the top of your screen) and scroll down to Reset. The following table outlines issues we found in our testing of HRforYOU.
