The SSAC in partnership with Human Resources is pleased to announce the creation of an Emergency Sick Time Bank for benefits eligible support staff employees.
What is it? The Emergency Sick Time Bank is a "bank of sick time" that has been donated by fellow support staff employees for use by other support staff employees who are out of work full-time with a serious medical condition. Criteria for receiving an award of sick time as well as the forms for donating and requesting time are available.

How can I donate hours? Any employee who has more than 500 hours of sick time in their current sick time accrual may donate up to 100 hours per calendar year. The creation of the Emergency Sick Time Bank is based solely on the donations of support staff who have significant sick time accrued.
