Health Plan Options

Benefits eligible employees working 20 or more hours per week (including academic year employees) are eligible to enroll in one of the health plans offered through the College: the Bowdoin College Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Health Plan,  and two High Deductible Health Plans (HDHPs).  All three plans are administered by Anthem and offer the same extensive network of providers as well as covering certain preventive services in-network at 100%.  The two high deductible plan options include an individual Health Savings Account (HSA) partially funded through the College.
