BRUNSWICK, Maine - Husson College claimed the 2008 Bowdoin Golf Invitational Sunday, battling through rainy conditions to post five of the top eight finishers to win by 15 strokes. Lee Bloom of Brandeis claimed medalist honors by carding a two-day score of 145, including the low round of the tournament on Saturday with a 2-under par 70.
The host Polar Bears finished in fourth place overall and were led by Ryan Blossom, who claimed 10th place individually. Blossom shot a 77-78 to card a two-day score of 155. Turner Kufe bounced back from a first-round score of 84 to post the second-lowest round of the day Sunday with a 74 to rise to 12th place. Jeff Cutter and James Yoo closed in a tie for 15th place with matching 159's.
