WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The top-ranked Bowdoin College field hockey team won their 26th consecutive game with a 3-0 victory at Williams Saturday. The Polar Bears (6-0) have outscored their opponents 25-0 this season. Williams dips to 3-2 this year.
Lindsay McNamara's 15th goal of the season came less than four minutes into the game as the Polar Bear garnered an early lead. Madeleine McQueeney scored early in the second period and Julia King notched a goal with under 20 minutes remaining to round out the scoring.
Emileigh Mercer and Emily Neilson stopped one shot apiece for Bowdoin, who held a 17-4 edge in shots. Katrina Tulla made five saves for the Ephs.
