BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College golfers Jeff Cutter (Medfield, Mass.) and Ryan Blossom (Concord, N.H.) have been named to the NESCAC's All-Conference Team following their performances at the conference tournament last weekend.
Cutter earns his third-consecutive All-NESCAC honor, and rises to First-Team recognition after a pair of Second-Team nods in 2006 and 2007. Cutter shaved six strokes off his day one total of 78 with a one-over 72 on day two to finish tied for fifth (150). He has been outstanding this fall, finishing in the top five in four different tournaments.
Blossom collected Second-Team honors after finishing in 11th place with a two-day total of 153 (77-76). A model of consistency this autumn, Blossom has earned four top-ten finishes in five events.
The Polar Bears, who finished fifth overall at the NESCAC Qualifier last weekend, will return to action with a pair of tournaments this weekend; the Sid Farr Classic in Waterville on Saturday and the CBB Championship Tournament at Martingdale G.C. on Sunday.
