Orr Named Honorable Mention All-American
BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College men's lacrosse player Brian Orr (Simsbury, Conn.) has been named a USILA Division III All-American. Orr was named an Honorable Mention selection at defense after leading the team to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance this spring.
A First-Team All-NESCAC and a selection for the USILA North/South Senior All-Star game this spring, Orr was a captain for the Polar Bears (12-7) in 2008. He started all 19 games at defense for Bowdoin, collecting 40 groundballs to finish third on the squad.
