BABSON PARK, Mass. - Bowdoin senior Jordan Fliegel (Cambridge, Mass.) closed out his collegiate career by playing in the New England Basketball Coaches Association Senior All-Star game on Sunday, April 13.
Playing for the NESCAC/Commonwealth Coast/Independent team, Fliegel scored 11 points to finish second on the team in scoring for the game. Alongside several NESCAC brethren, his team took a 110-103 victory.
Fliegel excelled in his senior campaign at Bowdoin, posting career-highs in points (394, 13.6/game), rebounds (155, 5.3/game) and field-goal percentage (.558, sixth in NESCAC). A starter since his sophomore season, the tri-captain posted 961 career points and 463 career boards. In addition, Fliegel garnered Academic All-NESCAC honors. The Polar Bears finished with a program-best 22-7 record and the squad's first NCAA bid since 1999.
