Men's Squash Competes at Team Nationals


BOSTON, Mass. - The Bowdoin College men's squash team finished in 12th place at the Team Nationals held at Harvard this weekend. The Polar Bears pick up their highest finish at Nationals since 1998-99 when they took 10th.

The Polar Bears opened the weekend with a victory over Ameherst, 5-4 (RESULTS). Lawrence Delasotta picked up a victory in the number one draw as Jon Crowell (#3), Eric Toan (#6), George Hubbard (#8) and Geordie Macleod (#9) helped to down the Jeffs.

In their second match, Bowdoin fell to Penn, 7-2 (RESULTS). Greg Clement at number two and Eric Toan at number six were the lone Polar Bear winners.

In their final match for the #11 spot in the nation, Bowdoin fell in a tight match to Navy, 5-4 (RESULTS). Delasotta (#1), Clement (#2), Toan (#6) and Hubbard (#8) led Bowdoin with wins.
